Steve Daugherty – President
Steve co-founded Current Technologies Corporation (CTC) in 1997 and is responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing and service delivery. Steve drives growth through customer relationships as well as creating strategic partnerships with best in class technology vendors such as Motorola, Axis, and Milestone. Steve’s focus includes the core practice areas including wireless solutions and surveillance. Steve pioneered the creation of the wireless solutions and surveillance practice and has been involved in the design and project management of surveillance and wireless solutions for numerous municipal clients. Steve was instrumental in obtaining the West Central Municipal Conference contract which catapulted CTC into the local government arena. Steve has more than 25 years of technology experience and was a business owner before co-founding CTC.
Kurt Griesheim – Vice President
Kurt co-founded Current Technologies Corporation (CTC) in 1997 with the concept of providing a full range of IT solutions to small and mid-sized firms. He is directly responsible for business development, operations and the delivery of services. CTC has grown to more than 30 employees and now has three core practice areas including IT Solutions, Wireless Solutions, and Surveillance. Before starting CTC, Kurt was co-founder of Preferred Computer Services (PCS), a computer service firm that began operating in 1992 and quickly grew through the acquisition of major accounts such as Harris Bank and Chicago City colleges. Kurt successfully negotiated the sale of PCS to the publicly traded DecisionOne Inc in 1997. Kurt holds a degree in B.A. in Economics from University of Iowa.
Darryl Bosak - V.P. of Operations, Surveillance & Wireless Solutions
Darryl is responsible for all aspects of service delivery and project management for the wireless solutions and surveillance practice areas. In 2005, Darryl joined CTC and has ensured the successful delivery of projects which have in turn led to a highly satisfied and referenceable client base. With over 15 years of technical and management experience, Darryl leverages his background to ensure projects meet or exceed customer expectations. Darryl has played a critical role in building and expanding the wireless solutions and surveillance practice areas.
Mark Rhodes – V.P. of Operations, IT Solutions
Mark is responsible for all aspects of service delivery and project management for the IT solutions practice area. In 1998, Mark joined CTC and has utilized his technical and management skills to foster business development, architect technical solutions, and manage partner relationships with leading firms such as Microsoft, VMware, HP and Dell. Mark earned his Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry Institute of Technology and his Master’s degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. Mark holds numerous Professional and Technical Certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL v3 Foundation, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
Phillip Hanson - IT Solutions Practice Manager
Phil serves at IT Solutions Practice Manager. He and his team of engineers are responsible for implementing and supporting solutions involving server, network, storage, security, and desktop infrastructure. Phil’s management and technical expertise have contributed significantly to Current Technologies’ success. Phil earned his Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry Institute of Technology. Phil holds numerous technical certifications including the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) credential.
